Renew Rain was worked on as part of a team for a Sustainable Design Capstone at the Reykjavik University - Iceland School of Energy. The focus was to design a functional and affordable Rain-Water Harvesting and Bioremediation System for a high-rise building in Singapore (One Raffles Quay), a country with a large amount of rainfall. The system is meant to provide the building with potable water, energy generated from water moving down the building and a green roof space for occupants and visitors to enjoy some much needed time in nature. In addition to reducing the Urban Heat Island Effect and heating requirements for the building.
